Presenting The Holy Bible From Genesis Through Revelation
This page contains everything you'll need to participate in what we hope and pray will be a successful 2026 Bible Marathon. What a joy it is to sit before The Lord and present a portion of His Holy Word!
At 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, January 1st, 2026, we'll begin with Genesis Chapter 1 and present the entire Bible, chapter-by-chapter, verse-by-verse. At 9:00 PM we'll stop for the day. We'll resume at 9:00 AM the next morning and repeat the pattern until we finish Revelation Chapter 22.
It is not necessary to be logged into the Interactive Christian Community to join the 2026 Bible Marathon. If you already have Zoom installed, please do one of the following, otherwise, refer to Downloading and Installing Zoom:
Unlike TeamTalk, Zoom is full-duplex, meaning that we can hear each other and talk at the same time. As a result, it is important, if you are not presenting, that you keep your audio muted. Your audio will be muted when you join the Bible Marathon Zoom meeting. If you are a presenter or co-presenter, press alt-a to unmute your audio. When you are finished presenting, Press alt-a again to mute your audio. If you are a monitor and need to communicate with the presenter, press and hold the spacebar, speak into your microphone, and release the spacebar when you are finished speaking.

Times are scheduled in 2 hour periods or shifts as follows:
Each period has a presenter, a monitor, and potentially a co-presenter. Some time periods are designated as group presentations, particularly at the beginning and end of the Marathon.
Presenters will use their own versions of the Bible and various presentation methods including:
Presenters may wish to share their scheduled time periods with others, in which case we'll do our best to make appropriate arrangements. This is especially applicable to those reading print or Braille which can sometimes be tiring.
Monitors:
Monitors who wish to present may arrange to do so by asking their presenters.

The ICC 2026 Bible Marathon is taking place on Zoom. All schedule times are based on the Eastern U.S./Canadian time zone.
Bible presenting will start promptly at 9:00 AM each morning. However, we will meet at 8:30 AM to pray, get organized, and discuss any questions or problems which may have arisen from the previous day's presentations.
To keep the marathon running smoothly, we request that presenters and monitors join the Zoom meeting 15 minutes ahead of their scheduled start times. We also ask that the monitor for the 7:00 PM-9:00 PM period Set Tomorrow Morning's Bible Marathon Starting Place so that the next day's first presenter will know where to begin.
The 2026 Bible Marathon daily schedule will be emailed to the ICC email list at 7:00 AM each morning.

Before describing the process for unzipping a Bible, it might be helpful to understand how the files and folders are named:
For example, the zip file containing the non-dramatized audio version of The World English Bible Old Testament is called WEBO_WEB_OT_N.zip and the zip file containing the dramatized audio King James Version New Testament from Faith Comes By Hearing is called FCBH_KJV_NT_D.zip.
For example, the folder containing Genesis is called 01_Genesis and the folder containing Revelation is called 27_Revelation.
For example, the file containing the audio of Genesis Chapter 1 is called 01_Genesis_01.mp3 and the file containing the rich text of Revelation Chapter 22 is called 27_Revelation_22.rtf.
The following explains how to extract or unzip a downloaded Bible on a Windows computer on which third party archive utilities like 7Zip have not been installed. Before beginning, please ensure that your computer is configured to show file extensions for known file types. In windows 10, this can be accomplished by typing "show file extensions" in the search field and following the prompts. Showing file extensions will enable you to distinguish between the actual zip file and the folder created as a result of unzipping it. For example, unzipping the World English Bible Old Testament, WEBO_WEB_OT_N.zip, will create a new folder called WEBO_WEB_OT_N.
